Special Report/Survey from the Plant Problem Clinic in Clemson, SC This spring, the Plant Problem Clinic in Clemson is conducting a survey for Ramorum Blight. The enclosed brochure describes the history, hosts, and symptom identification of this disease, which has been found in several nurseries in South Carolina since 2004. As a former customer of the clinic, we are sending you this brochure to encourage your participation in identifying any host plants that may be carrying this disease. This survey is important because this disease could be extremely detrimental to the southeastern oak population if it were to spread into the wild. If you notice that any of your plants are potentially infected, please send a sample and it will be inspected at no charge. If the sample comes out negative, but you still want to know what the disease or problem is, please include a check made out to Clemson University for $10.00 and we will process it for you. Thank you.
